Welcome Back P6/7C
Hello Everyone,
I hope you had a relaxing Easter and a good break from your learning pack. We were so lucky to have had such wonderful weather and it was fabulous to be able to get out into our gardens and enjoy the sunshine. I hope you all took the opportunity to go for long walks or bicycle rides. I also hope you enjoyed your Easter eggs, no Easter eggs for me but plenty of chocolate!! It has also been lovely to get messages from a few of you and to hear what you have been getting up to. Remember feel free to send me examples of work you have been doing or even some pictures. If you have any issues getting logged onto your c2k account if you get your parents to e-mail me I can reset your password for you.
I know that some of you may have completed a lot or all of the work in your learning packs so I have put together some more numeracy and literacy tasks for you to do. If you have any issues printing off the worksheets don't worry you can read them on the screen and write the answers in one of your classwork books. I have downloaded a spelling activity with 6 pages if you aim to do the first three pages this week and you should have some comprehensions from your learning pack still to do. For literacy I have also included a creative writing activity, where you are asked to write a review of a film you have watched recently.
For numeracy I have given you mental maths activities you could one of these a day. I have also included a spring maths booklet if you aim to do the first 4 pages.
Don't be getting stressed out over any of this work if you find it too difficult leave it and do some reading, go over your times tables, prime numbers and square numbers.
Remember to set aside time to do some fun things; drawing, coding or making movies on the computer, baking and I'm sure you have lots of other good ideas.
According to the forecast this sunshine is to last so make the most of it and spend time outside.
I really have missed seeing you all and hearing about all the things that you have been up to.
Remember take care of yourselves, be kind and helpful around the house and keep safe.
Mr Calderwood
