Week beginning Monday 25th

26th Nov 2024

๐Ÿ“š Apologies for no note on here yesterday or last week.

What a busy week we are having.
The play rehearsals are in full flow, volcano model making, display work, another PE live with NI CORE KIDS on Wednesday planned, art and ICT.

BOYS AND GIRLS,
๐Ÿค— Brill work this morning on your problem solving activity based on your homework task on earthquakes last night.  We used five different types of problem solving strategies this morning to find the correct definition for each term relating to earthquakes.
We then watched a video, discussed the display signs and made notes on volcano vocabulary that we can then use in class tomorrow.
Make sure today- complete your vocabulary list in your volcano boxes and leave the definitions for tomorrow peer activity.
For those children ( and adults ) who worked so diligently last night at completing both tasks, you have the work done!  We can use your vocabulary tomorrow to challenge your peers on what they think the word means.

๐Ÿ‘—Costumes in by Dec 5th - and we keep all costumes then for the dress rehearsal. They will go home with you again on dress rehearsal day, so you have them at home  for the Tues and Wed night.

๐ŸŽซ Raffle tickets with awesome prizes - remember to return.

๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Tickets for show have also gone on sale - once they’re gone… they’re gone.

๐ŸŽฌ Any masking tape?.. can you please bring in a roll for your volcano models.

๐ŸคงTissues Please ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ - a box per pupil please required.

Hand gels and wipes also allowed too to use in between our hand wash routine.

๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽผ๐ŸŽน Song words and script words and characterisation work for our school show.

๐Ÿ’ฏ 7 times tables - remember  again - use the strategies we have been learning - doubling and halving, x9 patterns etc.

๐Ÿฅผ You are a pleasure to work with each day, boys and girls!

๐ŸŽA big shout out to those pupils who are going above and beyond with art work at home, baking, reading new books, extra research and sharing with the class, lovely hand writing, Christmas cards, cake treats - the list goes on!

๐ŸŽˆI have got our daily timetable printed for you all to have on your desks so that you know the agenda for this week.

Next week there will be a different one.  All focused around TWAU - displays and art work.
All literacy, reading, creative writing, music, art, ICT, maths AND PE are linked to our Natural Disaster topic this week and next.

Keep up the great work! ๐Ÿ’ซ
