Sustrans ‘Party in the carpark’ is almost here!

5th Jun 2023

Hello everyone. I hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather we are having and wanted to remind everyone that now is the perfect time to be enjoying travelling actively to school each day. On Friday 9th June we will be hosting a Sustrans ‘party in the carpark’ with games and fun for each of the classes to enjoy and I wanted to let the whole school community know that the turning circle will therefore be closed off to parents from 9.15am to 1.45 pm. This is an event to discourage pollution and harm to the environment by getting rid of the cars and focussing on utilising the outdoor space in a different way. As the weather is so nice I would therefore like to encourage everyone to travel actively on Friday in particular if you can. Once again I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their input into each of the Sustrans activities this year, it is always greatly appreciated, kind regards, Mrs Horan.
