SAFER INTERNET WEEK INTRO KS2 MORAL COMPASS
Today we had a further E safety assembly with KS2 pupils and teachers! We had statements prepared for the children to discuss, debate and explore- and that they did!
Our pupils talked confidently, thinking beyond the norm and being able to reason and provide rational for their opinions.
We talked to the children and showed videos on AI, privacy, use of mobile phones in Secondary Schools, making an impact as one individual, and the importance of open and honest communication in the home and school of what we ACTUALLY are doing, enjoying or worrying about online. We explored just how SOCIAL is SOCIAL MEDIA and the importance of human face to face interaction. We discussed the many, many positives of online life!
So, please do talk to your children about all they have done today! Enjoy your DISCUSSION ZONES next week and remember to make your family pledge doable!
