Hello boys and girls, 

These are the tasks for today. They are also posted on Teams. Please remember to upload your finished work so I can view it and give you feedback.

  • Literacy

Today we are going to continue with our Guided Reading. Have a look on the timetable for today and see which book or chapter you have to read. Once you have read your book or chapter, discuss what you have read with the adult who has listened to you. Once you have done this, take from your learning pack, the task for this piece of guided reading. When you answer your questions remember to use full sentences, capital letters and full stops. Remember to make sure your handwriting is neat and well presented. Once you have completed your guided reading task then you have an opportunity to continue learning and testing yourself on your weekly spellings which you received yesterday.

  • Numeracy

Using this week’s mental maths sheet complete Tuesday’s tasks.

We are continuing to learn about the six times table.

As a warm up today, we are going to count up and backwards in twos, fives and tens from 1 to 100 and 100 to 1. I would like you to now count up in threes from 1 to 30 and back down to 1. Now count up in fours from 1 to 40 and then back down to 1. How did you get on? 👍🤙👎
