Ok, so really struggling to get your New Wave on today... printer doesn't want to scan... so... here are a few other things to keep those brains ticking over

  • a times table/division table sheet... time yourself (this reminds me... you can access Hit the Button at home)
  • An ordering fractions worksheet
  • a powerpoint on data handling that includes some work on averages (finding the mean)
  • an extra finding the mean activity

I've also put on a powerpoint on Understanding Foreign Aid. This should be used to make you think... we have thought about justice and Fair treatment for everyone... this powerpoint looks at the advantages and disadvantages of what happens when other countries step in to help those less well off than themselves. Try to use the information to come up with your own questions and ideas... how do you think money can be distributed in a fair and beneficial way to those who need it most? Are there better ways to help those in need than just providing money? Are there charities out there who do this well? Look into charities like Christian Aid, Trocaire, and Children in Crossfire... how do they address some of the problems of providing financial aid?

Keep those big brains busy... I look forward as always to any feedback.
