P6O work week beg 15th June

15th Jun 2020

Hello there P6O!

I hope you are all still feeling FABULOUS! I can't believe it's nearly the end of June already. The time has flown by since I last saw you all. Has it flown by for you too? I hope you have all been outside enjoying the good weather again. I was at the beach yesterday - it was lovely.

Mrs Heffron has asked me to thank you for the replies to the buddy system letter. She was pleased with all the responses you sent in. I think you will make great buddies for our new primary 1 pupils in September.

Have you noticed how bright it is at night time recently? Or if you happen to be up during the night how it is still kind of bright? Have you wondered why? Well your Literacy/Science activity on Summer Solstice will help you understand why! You'll be able to explain it to everyone.

There's some Maths as well for this week on Area and Perimeter and on calculating averages. I've included your last round of P6 New Wave English and Maths as well (I know how sad this will make you!!) And spellings too. Plenty to keep you busy in your last week of work.

One final task for you - do something kind for someone you know and tell me about it (koneill422@c2kni.net). It can be anything at all. I'd love to hear from you all.

I hope to see you at the 30th Birthday Drive-by on Sunday afternoon - it'll be nice to see your faces again!

Take care and stay safe,

Mrs O'Neill :)
