Hi boys and girls,
I hope you all had a lovely day off for St Patrick’s Day. I lay in bed until 10am ….. I was very tired 😴 . I made Irish stew for dinner and went for a lovely long walk with Ben, Harry and Barker. The weather was lovely. It was just so nice having a day off school in the middle of the week 😊
I hope you have heard the good news 📰 …… we are back to school on Monday. I am so looking forward to seeing you back in the classroom ❤️ I think a bit of normality is what we all need at the minute.
Our plan for Thursday 18th March is as follows
Session 1 – Numeracy
New Waves Mental Maths – Pg 19 (Thurs). Remember to do Thursday’s set and not Wednesday’s set. I will post the answers on Thursday afternoon.
Multiplying by 3 Quiz. Listen to the 3 times tables song again as this will help you learn them (Multiplying by 3) on YouTube https://youtu.be/UnbV3iBVjc4
Subtracting HTU’s – . (Word Problem solving Cards) These cards follow on from the set we did on Monday. Again, write the sums into your orange numeracy class work book. Remember to include labels
Session 2 – Literacy.
Spellings – verbs adding ‘ed’. Complete spelling list and cryptograms (You don’t need to do the anagrams this week unless you want to)
Literacy Task – watch the YouTube video on action verbs then complete the worksheet on action verbs.
Guided Reading –No Guided Reading
Session 3 – PE
The weather is starting to get warmer so please get outside into the fresh and get some exercise 🏃♂️🌤🥅🪁⚽️🚴♀️
