Hi boys and girls,
Today is Friday and we have completed week one of our online learning!!!!
It has been a long hard week for all of us and you should all feel very proud of everything you have done this week. Give yourself a big pat on the back.
This is our outline for Friday -
Session 1
- Friday Spelling test - please ask someone in your house to call out your spellings for the week. I want you to write your answers into the literacy exercise book in your pack. When you have completed your spelling test, take a photo and post your work either onto the assignment section on TEAMS or email me your answers to me so that I can mark your work.
- Mental Maths - On Friday's we will be using My Mental Maths Book 1- You have to do the first 2 pages. You don't need to send this work to me as I am going to post the answers onto TEAMS for you to mark yourself.
- Topic Maths - You will have 3 sheets to do on quadrilaterals and 2d shapes. Please take a photo of your finished work and post your work either onto the assignment section on TEAMS or email it to me
Session 2
- Creative Writing - The Fly Away Kite. You will find this sheet inside your pack. Please cut out the pictures and then glue into your creative writing book and then write your story beside the pictures. When you have finished your story please take a photo and post your work either onto the assignment section on TEAMS or email it to me
Session 3
- TWAU - you will need the hot air balloon worksheet from inside your pack. Using the internet find out a fact or facts about hot air balloons and write the fact/facts onto the lined part of your worksheet. Please colour your sheet and then take a photo and post your work either onto the assignment section on TEAMS or email it me.
- Art - Draw a picture of a hot air balloon onto the next blank page in TWAU book. Or if you have any coloured paper in your house you could try making a 3d hot air balloon by clicking onto the YouTube link and the following the simple instructions.
