Hi boys and girls, I hope you had a good day on Wednesday. I don’t think that we had any technical difficulties on Wednesday but I know other teachers had similar problems on Wednesday to the one I had on Tuesday! Remember, if you ever have any problems downloading worksheets on teams to go to the school website as I also put our work on there every evening too.
Thank you again for the World Book Day activities. On Thursday I’m going to post your work onto the school website.
Our plan for Wednesday, 3rd March is as follows
Session 1 – Numeracy
New Waves Mental Maths – Pg 15 (Thursday). I will post the answers on Wednesday afternoon.
Multiplying by 5 interactive game. Play any of the games to practise your 5 times tables.
Mental Maths strategy – Try out the quiz in your assignment section.
Mixed Subtracting HTU’s sheets – (Watch video, complete sheets and hand in) (Assignment)
Session 2 – Literacy.
World Book Day Activity
Pick an activity from the World Book Day activities posted on the school website. Remember you can do more than one activity. Post your completed task or tasks to the assignment. Remember, if the tasks don’t open on teams then go to the school website as they are all posted there. I will set up a new assignment for you to post Wednesday’s work.
Guided Reading - I plan to meet with all groups on Thursday. As Thursday is World Book Day it would be great to see you all on for your session
Tinmen and Scarecrows at 10.00am. You will need the book Stuff and Nonsense. We will be reading Pg2-7 and completing workbook pg 9 together.
The Lions at 10.45am – You will need the book called Message. We will be reading pg 22-31
The Munchkins at 11.30am – You will need the book called Animals. We will be reading Pg15-18 and completing workbook pg 7
The Flying Monkeys at 12.15pm – You will need the book called Balloons. We will be reading Pg16-21 and completing workbook pg 10
