P4/5M Week beginning 18th May 2020
Hi P4/5M
I really hope you are keeping well. I can't believe that we are still in lockdown and still working from home.
I've uploaded notes to help you along with a variety of activities that you might want to try out.
There are 2 new things for us to consider this week ……… First this week is Mental Health Awareness Week and the theme is Kindness (18th May - 24th May). As you are such a kind class you will easily find ways to be kind throughout the week. You could help with chores around the house, help with the cooking, wash the car, help in the garden, read a story to a younger brother or sister or simply draw a picture to give to someone. I really miss all the lovely pictures that you would make for me. Perhaps you could email me some of your pictures this week. I've uploaded a 'Kindness Diary' and a 'Random Act of Kindness' sheet for you to use. You don't need to use both of them so pick which one you would like to use for PDMU. In my notes, I've also tied Mental Health Awareness into our PE for this week (see notes)
Secondly, Wednesday, 20th May is World Bee Day. This ties in nicely with our TWAU topic, "A Walk in the Park". I've uploaded a variety of worksheets and activities on Bees for you to try out. Next week we will be moving onto our new topic called "Out of Africa"
Keep up the hard work, P4/5M. I'm still missing you so keep sending me your emails.
Love Mrs Kim McLaughlin xx
