P3EH notes for week beginning Tuesday 26th May 2020

26th May 2020

Dear Primary 3 boys and girls!

I can’t quite believe yet another week has passed without getting to see you and I hope you are all still keeping ok and staying safe. Did you enjoy your home tea party yesterday? Sienna and I had a ball, treating ourselves has become quite a frequent pastime over lockdown J and as I mentioned before Sienna is a big fan of buns as am I! J Don’t forget to send your photos to our school email address which is info@braidsideintegratedps.ballymena.ni.sch.uk as we would all love to see them!

As this is a shorter four day week I would like you to continue with the work that is left in your workpack. For Literacy this week your comprehension page should be the one entitled ‘clowns’ and once again please feel free to chose which activity you wish to complete from the Nelson Grammar booklet. Please continue to look over your look, write, cover , check and this week’s spelling list is the one entitled Numbers. Please also continue to practice writing as much as possible whether this be within your lockdown diary or by writing a letter to one of your school friends or family members or also practicing writing a little short story of your own. Don’t forget to also continue to practice your handwriting each week in your handwriting booklet.

For Numeracy we are continuing our tens and units learning alongside the booklets that are included within our workpacks. Please also don’t forget to complete your mental maths written exercises each day. This week we should be on pgs 66-67 of our mental maths booklets.

Did you enjoy the little kindness activities that I set for you last week? I hope so! Please don’t forget to send me some pictures J

I also hope you enjoyed World Bee day on Wednesday. This week our WAU focus will be on butterflies (my favourite) and I have attached a few little activities for you to complete on this. There is also a little interactive minibeasts wordsearch if your mummies and daddies still have twinkl and you search ‘minibeasts interactive wordsearch’ on twinkl.

As always please just complete what you can and have fun! Missing you and hope to see you again soon, Lots of love from Mrs Horan.
