NI Does The Daily Mile Santa Run 2021

29th Nov 2021

This year Braidside has signed up to participate in NI Does The Daily Mile Santa Run on Friday, 3rd December.  Many of our classes already take part in the Daily Mile with their class teacher but this Friday will be slightly different.  This Friday we are inviting the pupils of Braidside to come to school wearing their Christmas Jumper or a warm winter jumper.  They can also wear Christmas hats/ordinary hats, scarves and gloves to keep warm.  Please send a coat with your child in case of rain.

Throughout the day, each class will go out for at least 15 minutes to participate in a brisk walk ..... the children will not have to run!  We all know that being physically active is good for both our physical and mental health.  The Daily Mile Santa Run is a great way to encourage children to have festive fun, socialise with friends and feel happier by being active outside, in a non-competitive environment.  We hope the children have fun and enjoy this festive walk.

Thank you for your support.
