Mrs Fulton's Welcome!

2nd Apr 2020

Please find attached a letter outlining what Term 3 in P5F (at home) will look like!

Thursday 2nd April 2020

Hello P5F!

It is Mrs Fulton!

 I will now be back teaching you this term- albeit- remotely!  I want to send you this little welcome to our online schooling platform.  It is important that you stay in touch with the tasks posted on our school Braidside website.  Each week I will have tasks uploaded for you to have a go at completing and sending to me.

Term 3, 2020 will look very different for many hundreds of thousands of students across the world.  The last few weeks children and adults have been adapting to a new way of working, learning and teaching, as well as allowing downtime, creative time and time for exercise and fitness.

My plan is to upload twice a week.

Monday upload will consist of some of the following;

Literacy: spelling challenge, grammar, comprehension, reading, creative task

Numeracy: online activities, mental maths challenge, task sheets in number/data handling/shape and space/measure

TWAU- I would love some ideas here from you all- so please send me ideas of areas you would be interested in learning about!

Wednesday upload will consist of some of the following;

Art/Music/ICT/PE/PDMU

Activity of your choice- audio book/Sustrans/baking/cooking/the list is endless...but I want to hear all about it! Remember you can send photos too with captions on them.  Make it fun for you and stress free!

Weekly blog on what you have accomplished in the week, enjoyed, learned, struggled with.  I will endeavour to do the same so that each of you can stay up to date with what I am doing too!

How do I access my work?

Click P5F under CLASSES on the Braidside Integrated Primary School website.

I will post the documents here with the dates on each so you know what one to do each week.

How do I complete my work?

Some of the activities will be online activities.  I will provide a short review of task framework for all of you to complete for feedback.  I welcome any ideas for links you know of too, on here, that would be fun learning for all of us!

Other activities may require written work.  You can either type up answers or write them on a page, photograph them and email to me- my c2k school email is-

cfulton436@c2kni.net

Please do feel free to make use of your ICT skills.  Some of you may have iMovie or WhatsApp... you may wish to try and email a short video update- this is a term to be creative and open to how you wish to keep in touch, learn and send your work to me to appraise it.

I look forward to hearing from you.  As said before by Mrs Taylor, this is a challenging time for everyone.  Please do what you can and forward to me anything you have completed.  I will enjoy reading the emails and responding to you!  Parents have a tough job managing the home, schoolwork and their own work.  Please know that what YOU do is of value.  Do not compare yourselves to other households.

I look forward seeing what we can accomplish this term.

Take care

Stay home and be safe!

Mrs Fulton.
