Happy Easter P4/5M
Monday, 6th April, 2020
Hi P4/5M
I hope that each and every one of you are keeping well and keeping safe. I am keeping very well but I’m missing all of you dreadfully. I’m missing not being able to do all the wonderful art work that we usually do weekly in our busy classroom. Have any of you painted a rainbow for your window? If so, I would love to see it. Perhaps you could take a photograph and email the picture of your rainbow to me. I wonder how many of you have continued to play your recorder. I know how musical you all are and I know how much fun you had using the percussion instruments for your animal performances. (Even though our room was very noisy!) I was so impressed by the pieces of music you created and performed. Perhaps you could send me an email to let me know how you are or how you are getting on with your Literacy and Numeracy packs. Or perhaps you could email a copy of your most favourite piece of work from your home learning pack. I would love to see it!
After Easter, I will be in touch to give you more ideas about work you could be doing at home. But in the meantime, here are some ideas for over the Easter Holidays
- Read a few pages from your favourite book each day
- Play board games with your family or build jigsaws
- Go outside every day and do some exercises
- Make an Easter card and sent it to someone to brighten up their day
- Boil an egg and when it is cooled decorate it for Easter
- Make someone in your house some toast and use a variety of the toppings the way we did in class
- Make someone in your house a sandwich …….. remember how much fun we had with the jam and peanut butter sandwiches!
- Make up a treasure hunt
- Bake some nice goodies
- Watch a family movie or have a movie marathon!
- Learn a new song or create a dance …… I know how many of you loved to perform your songs and dances for me
- I would like to end by wishing you and your family a very happy and very blessed Easter. I hope you and your family have a lovely break and will be able to spend time recharging your batteries. Be happy, have fun, keep safe and eat lots of yummy Easter Eggs!
- I miss you all
