Get ready to ‘ditch the dark’ and travel safely and actively to school!
On Monday 30th January we will be celebrating Sustrans ‘ditch the dark day’ in school. This is a non-uniform day in which all children are asked to wear bright or reflective clothing to school to mark the importance of road safety and being easy to visualise when travelling to school and crossing the road. Weather depending I would also encourage as many children as possible to make a special effort to travel actively on this day and to continue to travel actively as often as possible as the brighter days approach. Travelling actively to school is a great way to save the environment whilst also keeping fit and healthy and having fun, a perfect way to start the day! Many thanks for your support and cooperation and always, we look forward to seeing your ‘be bright, be seen’ ensembles on the 30th January!
