First News 15th - 21st May

Hello to EVERYONE in Key Stage 2.

It occurred to me that during these very strange times, many of you are probably not really aware of what is happening around the world, because the news on TV is completely dominated by Covid 19. I know that in my house, my own boys have stopped watching most of the news bulletins, which is completely understandable. It seems as though there is just no getting away from it!

Looking at this week's First News has cheered me up though. There are some great stories in there... including a very strange use for 'wee'... yes, that's right... 'wee'! There is also the heart warming story of a baby elephant who made it to safety after a scary experience, as well as all the usual puzzles, reviews and interviews. So, turn off those x boxes and play stations and take a look... I promise it'll give you something better to talk about around the dinner table!
