CHIEF EXECUTIVES OF EDUCATION CALL FOR EDUCATION FUNDING

Dear Parents,

On Thursday, the 23rd of March, all eight Chief Executives of Education bodies including NICIE put out a collective call to action to address, underfunding in education in Northern Ireland. We made it clear to all the political parties in Northern Ireland that there is a discrepancy between the amount of funding per head of children and young people in Northern Ireland compared with England, Scotland and Wales. The Aggregated Schools Budget needs to be significantly higher in order for proper investment in the education of our children and young people.
