Braidside Home School Attendance Tea Party

18th May 2020

Good morning everyone! I hope you are all keeping well and staying safe.

After 8 weeks of school closure and pupils working from home, I have really missed holding the monthly attendance tea parties; so you can imagine how pleased I was when I received photos from pupils who have been holding their own tea party at home. The tea parties have been going for a few years now and have been an opportunity for me to recognise good attendance and to offer encouragement to the children. So today I would like to invite all pupils, parents, teachers and staff to the "Braidside Home School Attendance Tea Party". This will take place next Monday 25th May (May day holiday) in your own homes. You can make it as simple or elaborate as you wish. Usually I would have some biscuits, buns, cake, juice or tea for the children but you can add sandwiches, scones or fruit, whatever suits your tea party!

All I ask is that you send a picture of your tea party either to the school email (info@braidsideintegratedps.ballymena.ni.sch.uk) or to the Facebook page. I'd love to see as many of our school community participate as possible. I'll be having my tea party with my children and hopefully I'll get them involved in the preparation too. As always, the tea party is to recognise the effort being made, in this case with your home/ online learning. We are all so very proud of how the children have been managing and working during this time. I hope you will be able to join us for the celebration! #Braidsideteaparty
