A very big thankyou for making the Big walk and wheel and today’s walking bus such a huge success!

25th Mar 2022

Dear parents/Guardians, pupils,

I would just like to say a very big thankyou for making such an incredible effort to join us on this morning’s walking bus. It was such a fantastic turn out and having so many people walk together just made the event for the children and staff alike. Our Big walk and wheel week has been made possible and been so successful thanks to everyone getting involved and we now wait in anticipation for the overall results which will be announced in a week or two. Today we were still number one in the NI leaderboard!
I would also like to say a huge thankyou to the two officers from Ballymena Community Police who joined us on foot and on bike to help keep everyone safe. Their assistance was invaluable and we are so very appreciative. We are also very appreciative to Jim and Ballymena North for accommodating us and welcoming us once again.
Here are some photos from what was a very memorable and enjoyable morning. Many thanks again, Mrs Horan (Sustrans Active travel coordinator).
