Braidside Integrated Primary & Nursery School

Braidside Take 5 Day Next Wednesday 8th May we will hold our Take 5 day, with a sponsored walk on our grounds, a colouring/ poster competition, outdoor activities and "Beautiful Things" challenge. Pupils should ensure they are wearing trainers/ suitable footwear for their class walk. Sponsor sheets have been distributed to all classes and hopefully children have been getting support from family and friends. Visit from Michelle MULLAN, local author and teacher.

Braidside today had a very special visit from Michelle MULLAN, author of Leonard Lion is Brave. The children enjoyed listening to her story and discussing what inspired her to become a writer.

We thank you, Michelle for spending 2 hours with us - we thoroughly enjoyed all you had to say and have been inspired by your book.

We look forward to the other 4 stories… and of course the Adventures of Blue- P6 can help you with that one!
