Today Primary 4O took up British Nutrition Foundation, ‘Get Active Challenge’. We looked at the importance of getting active and how it is good for your heart, lungs and general health and wellbeing. We started with some classroom warm up exercises to get our heart and lungs working and stretch our muscles. We then went for our daily mile walk. We then had a warm down stretch before returning to the classroom. Later we had a very active morning and lunchtime play. We definitely met our challenge!!
