Today we looked at how we could make a number grow bigger!! We used a jam jar full of water and the number 108 written on a piece of paper. We placed the paper behind the jar of water. When we looked at the number through the jar of water it had grown to 801!! How did this happen? We learnt that it was caused by something called refraction. We then tried the same experiment using two fish drawn facing in opposite directions. By placing the fish behind the jar of water they changed direction. How amazing is science🌟
